Although there was no “master plan” followed, over the years Grand Oaks was developed in a way that truly makes sense. Centrally located on the grounds are the major meeting and recreation spaces as well as the facility manager’s home. For most events, guests can move easily between meeting venues with only a short walk. The paved recreation court just outside the Dining Hall allows campers to conveniently use it while waiting for a meal or after eating. A large grassy area just outside the Chapel is often used for Frisbee or other games, allowing campers to burn off energy prior to meeting or worship times. Around the perimeter of the property are the camper cabins, conveniently located so that the girls stay on one side of the campground and the boys on the other! A unique feature in the history of this camp is that all buildings were developed and are owned by the camp itself, not individual churches. This allowed continuity in development that often is not the case in similar camps.
When we have seen a need for remodeling the old or building the new, with God's help, we have met and exceeded those needs. All buildings (except Parker Hall) are now air conditioned. We have installed in our Chapel a ceiling mounted video projector and a brand new state-of-the-art sound system.

We invite your to check out the links to the left to see more pictures of this camp and the facilities we have to offer your group. Then, come be a part of the GRAND OAKS EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!
